Badr Hari will have the right to his revenge. After losing to Arkadiusz Wrzosek last September, the Moroccan kick-boxer will have the opportunity to rectify the situation, during the Glory 80, on March 19, against this same opponent.
Despite poor results in recent years, 37-year-old Badr Hari has decided to sign a multi-year contract extension with Glory. On March 19, he will find 29-year-old Arkadiusz Wrzosek in the ring at the Trixxo Arena in Hasselt.
Initially, the event was to take place a month earlier in the Gelredome, but due to a dispute between Glory and the Dutch martial arts authority, Scott Rudmann, Glory’s manager, decided not to hold any more events in the Netherlands so far.
This fight is a chance for the Moroccan to get his revenge as Arkadiusz Wrzosek from Poland provided a completely unexpected knockout for Hari with a phenomenally placed high kick, which was much more dominant throughout the fight.

Wrzosek is currently number 8 on the Glory chart. It is 2 meters long, which is why it is nicknamed “Hightower”. In 2018, Wrzosek also lost to Adegbuyi at Glory 62 via unanimous decision.
A true kickboxing legend, Hari is going through a difficult patch. Indeed, the so-called Golden Boy has not won since 2015. He comes out of four defeats and a no contest. However, despite these poor performances, the hope of a return of the Moroccan to the highest level is still present.
As a reminder, Badr Hari separated from his long-time coach Mike Passenier with whom he had celebrated the greatest successes of his career, and who gave way to Saïd el Badaoui.
