The prizes for the first edition of the National Competition for Innovation in the Service of Early Childhood Education, organized by the Zakoura Foundation under the banner “Educator’s innovation, a guarantee of quality”, have been awarded Monday in Rabat.
This initiative, which targets educators from all regions of the Kingdom, is part of the support for educational projects aimed at promoting quality preschool education.
Khadija El Korchi, from the province of Taroudant, won the first prize for her painting project using colored ice cubes aimed at improving the cognitive abilities of children.
The second prize went ex-aequo to Imane Bouchtat (Berkane) for her meditation and yoga project and to Khadija Al Ghiati (El Kelâa des Sraghna) for a project using theater and technology to serve children. .
Meryem El Menani from Chichaoua won third prize for a project highlighting the importance of educational games in the development of children’s mental abilities.
An exceptional prize was also awarded to Saadia El Achachi (Khouribga) for her project to treat speech disorders in children.
