The African Union on Wednesday condemned the “terrorist attack” perpetrated by the Houthis against civilian sites in the United Arab Emirates.
In a statement, the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki Mahamat, affirmed “to have followed the details of the terrorist attack which targeted civilian sites in the United Arab Emirates”.
The President of the Commission “strongly condemned this heinous criminal act and offered his sincere condolences to the high authorities of the United Arab Emirates, the Emirati people and the families of the victims, and wished a speedy recovery to the injured”.
Moussa Faki Mahamat “reiterated his call to redouble international solidarity against terrorism, of which the African continent is the first victim in many areas”.
