AS FAR qualified on Tuesday for the quarter-finals of the Football Throne Cup (2021-2022 season), beating Stade Marocain by 3 goals to 1, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah sports complex in Rabat.
Stade Marocain, which plays in the second division of the Botola Pro “Inwi”, opened the scoring in the 36th minute thanks to Kevin Kouakou. In the last breaths of the first period, Hatim Es Saoubi set the record straight (45th). The soldiers took the advantage through Larbi Naji (66th) before making things worse thanks to an achievement by Mustapha Sahd (70th).
In the next round, AS FAR will face the winner of the eighth in front of opponents, this Friday, FUS Rabat at the Olympique de Safi.
