Inter Milan will have to push back the interest of several Premier League clubs this summer to keep Achraf Hakimi. The latest, that of Arsenal which is already taking a step towards the Moroccan international.
Very fan of Achraf Hakimi, Arsenal wastes no time in attacking. According to the Spanish press, the Gunners have ticked the name of the Lion of the Atlas with Hector Bellerin likely to leave the English formation at the end of the season.
Arsenal are reportedly ready to offer the Nerazzurri € 50million, € 10million more than what Inter paid for the winger last year.
Inter signed Hakimi in September for € 40million, after enjoying the heyday of the Bundesliga at Borussia Dortmund.
The Gunners believe the Moroccan would be able to take his game to an even higher level in England. According to the same source, there is also a chance that Real Madrid will look to re-sign him as their player, which could be more tempting for the main concerned.
However, Inter informed a few weeks ago that they will not accept any transfer offers for Achraf Hakimi. Separately, the Serie A giant will make a € 13million deferred payment to Real Madrid as part of the young talent’s signing.
The two clubs have agreed to postpone the payment from the end of 2020 to the end of March 2021, in order to comply with UEFA guidelines on settling accounts before the end of the financial year.
Hakimi has quickly established himself as a key figure in Conte’s plans, with 26 league appearances and 6 goals in 2020/21, as they aim to end an 11-year wait for a league title at San Siro.
