The Spanish club Real Madrid arrived Monday evening at Rabat-Salé airport, as part of its participation in the semi-final of the Club World Cup, organized from February 1 to 11 in Rabat and Tangier.
Madrid, quadruple winners of the trophy, will meet in the semi-finals, Wednesday evening (8:00 p.m.) at the Prince Moulay Abdellah sports complex in Rabat, the Egyptian club of Al Ahly, which validated its ticket for the last four to the detriment of the Americans of Seattle Sounders.
The winner of this meeting will find the winner of the half, scheduled for Tuesday in Tangier, between Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia and Flamengo of Brazil.
Real Madrid and Al Ahly had faced each other only once in a friendly. The Egyptians had won 1-0, on the occasion of their election “African club of the Century”.
