This Friday, June 2, an extremist affiliated with Daesh was arrested in Tangier as part of the efforts of the security services to eradicate terrorist threats and neutralize extremist projects that threaten the security and stability of the Kingdom, explains the DGST in a communicated.
The investigation revealed that the defendant had pledged allegiance to the so-called “emir” of Daesh and effectively invested himself in the preparation of the execution of a terrorist plan against a sensitive establishment in Tangier through a destructive act according to the modus operandi of Daesh fighters.
