The Moroccan Observatory of Very Small, Small and Medium Enterprises (OMTPME) held the sixth meeting of its Board of Directors on Tuesday at the headquarters of Bank Al Maghrib in Rabat.
During this meeting, the members of the Council, after having examined the state of progress of the Strategic Plan 2021-2023 of the Observatory, welcomed its achievements having concerned, in particular, the development of new technological tools for the processing data, the expansion of studies on the productive fabric at regional and sectoral levels and the strengthening of cooperation at national and international level.
The members of the Council approved the roadmap for the last year of the strategic plan which aims in particular to enhance the technical and organizational capacities of the Observatory in order to consolidate its mission of data valorization as a lever for decision, at the service of the development of VSMEs.
The Board of Directors approved the accounts for the 2021 financial year as well as the budget for the 2023 financial year. The main purpose of the Observatory is to provide the public and private sectors with statistics and indicators on VSMEs and to carry out general and thematic studies in relation to these companies, in order to clarify the reflection on the issues related to their situation and their behavior.
