New edition, new theme
The Ana Maghribi.a competition this year invites young people to question the theme ” Women in the Future: Imagining equality “. They will be able to explore this notion from a personal and subjective point of view. ” Women in the future »Offers everyone to break with codes and appropriate the future through an anticipatory narrative to think about gender equality and denounce the inequalities that threaten the balance of our societies of tomorrow, underlines the same source, and also go in search of new universes to highlight the violence of our daily life, to question the framework of our societies.
” Dystopia or Utopia, it is up to the participants to choose: to evoke inequalities through stories, it is to speak about our present, about what is likely to happen to better alert the conscience; to dream of equality is to highlight what needs to be changed. “Women in the Future” invites us to think about and build a fairer reality through the imagination“, Explains the IFM.
A jury of professionals will assess the quality of the films
After producer and director Mouhcine Besri last March, it is now director and screenwriter Sofia Alaoui to chair the jury. At his side, we will find the interpreter Meryem Aboulouafa, the actress Oumama Ouaghou, the deputy general manager of JawJab Younès Lazrak and the communication director of Crédit du Maroc Mouna Benrhanem. The jury will award several prizes to the most creative and original videos.
