The judicial police of the city of Essaouira conducted a judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office on Saturday to determine the motives and the circumstances which led to the suicide of an individual from the top of a building housing the headquarters of a police department.
The person ended his life by jumping from the roof of a building housing the headquarters of a police department. Sources told MoroccoLatestNews that the person was in an abnormal condition and jumped off the top of the building for no apparent reason.
His jump caused serious mortal injuries to the individual who is decided during his transfer to the hospital.
The same sources add that the corpse was deposited in a morgue and must undergo a medical autopsy, while the Essaouira judicial police are carrying out field research and technical investigations, under the supervision of the prosecution, to determine the motives and the circumstances of this incident.
