With a view to reassessing relations with the European Parliament (EP), following the adoption in January of an anti-Moroccan resolution, an ad-hoc thematic committee composed of representatives of the two Chambers of Parliament, was created on Tuesday.
A press release from the Chamber of Representatives specifies that the creation of this committee was announced following a meeting of the Bureau of the Chamber of Representatives devoted to the reassessment of relations with the European Parliament.
“After an in-depth debate, it was decided to create an ad-hoc thematic commission devoted to the said reassessment, made up of representatives of the two Chambers”, underlines the Chamber, which also indicates that in the same context, it was also decided to hold, this Wednesday, an important study and information meeting on the attacks and false allegations made by certain parties within the EP against the Kingdom.
It should be noted that Tuesday’s meeting was attended by the presidents of the groups and members of the joint parliamentary committee.
