JSK/WAC: Algiers persists and signs! no flag of Morocco at the July 5 stadium

During the CAF Champions League meeting between JSK and WAC, Wydad pushed for the Algerian flag which flew with that of CAF at the “July 5” stadium to be removed from the mast because the of Morocco was not there.

Indeed, the organizers of the match Wydad and JS Kabylie put up the banners of “CAF” and Algeria, and deliberately did not put up the Moroccan flag. A vile attitude and lacking in fair play. This, one suspects, is part of the continuity of Algerian provocations against Morocco.

Farhat Mhanni, head of the Kabyle government in exile (in France), who had foreseen the scenario of the Algerian military regime during this match, tweeted on his personal “Twitter” account that, “people belonging to the army or at least many of his followers had reserved their places in the 5th of July stadium for purposes other than encouraging football and entertainment. And the head of the Kabyle government in exile indicated that many JSK supporters were prevented by the Algerian authorities from traveling to Algiers to attend the meeting.

But Kabylia youth fans and activists on far-sighted social media sites had earlier called for a ‘boycott’ of their team’s game against Wydad due to what they called a ‘plan’ hatched by the junta military to oppose them to the Moroccan supporters. The soldiers “armed” a number of people not affiliated with the Kabylia team, facilitating their entry into the stadium in large numbers in order to “provoke the WAC delegation and shout offensive slogans against the Reds and Morocco”.
