Algeria continues to plot in the world of football only to serve its pro-prolisario agenda. The president of the Algerian football federation would thus have only one mission: to integrate the executive committee in order to bring in the new football team made up of members of the Polisario and allegedly Sahrawi Algerians.
Algerian football is not the priority of the mandate of Djahid Zefizef, the contract that he must fulfill only includes the integration of the executive committee in order to admit the new newly constituted team of the polisario.
After Morocco’s brilliant success in the World Cup, the project of creating a Polisario team resonated more strongly in the minds of Algerian leaders. Their goal is to create discord within the African football family and especially to disrupt the Morocco team.
Thus, according to Africa Intelligence, the Algiers regime is plotting behind the scenes to integrate the pseudo rasd, which comes from the polisario, as a member country of CAF despite the CAF statutes which prohibit it since it does not it is not a country.
As a reminder, in March 2021 in Rabat, all African football federations met for the Congress of the African Football Confederation to vote on new statutes and amendments.
Among these amendments, there was the one to article 4, presented by Fouzi Lekjaa, president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), stipulating that only countries recognized by the United Nations and having a national team can be admitted to the CAF.
This amendment was passed unanimously, including by the boss of the Algerian football federation, Kheireddine Zetchi, who was sacked by the Algerian generals on his return to be replaced by Djahid Zefizef, a man who has no experience in the world of soccer.
The new boss of Algerian football has already been noticed by interventions against Morocco during international meetings. According to Africa Intelligence, this time, it had made the request to modify article 4 and eliminate the amendment which stipulates that the participating countries must be recognized by the UN.
This is not the first time that Zefizef has tried to modify this article, since last August in Tanzania, he made the same request during the last CAF General Assembly.
But ignorant of all CAF and football rules, Zefizef did not know that you had to have a special status to make this kind of request. For such a request to be processed, the applicant must be part of the CAF executive committee, which is not his case.
In addition, the request must be approved by three quarters of the votes cast before being adopted, which will certainly not be possible since only Algeria wants to modify this amendment and only for a political purpose. No African football federation would want football to be plagued by the Algerian plague.
Except that this does not prevent Algeria from seeking to introduce this request in any way. Thus, Djahid Zefizef is already preparing to compete with the Libyan Libyan Abdulhakim Alshelmani for the North Africa Zone of the Executive Committee.
He is a candidate for the next general assembly of the body expected on July 13 in Cotonou, Benin, but the Libyan is more likely to see his mandate renewed rather than seeing an apprentice occupy a seat too big for him. him.
