Egyptian club Al Ahly have qualified for the final of the African Football Champions League, where they will meet Wydad Casablanca, after their draw (2-2) against Entente Sétif of Algeria , Saturday evening at the 5-July stadium in Algiers.
In the first leg, Al Ahly overthrew the Setif team by 4 goals to 0.
Ahmed Abdelkader opened the scoring for the Egyptian team before the Algerian club replied through Ahmed Kendouci and Riad Benayad. Mohamed Sherif scored for the visitors in the final moments.
Wydad, who won their ticket at the expense of Petro Luanda (1-3 first leg, 1-1 return) will aim, on May 30 at home, for a third coronation in this competition, after those of 1992 and 2017. Al Ahly, double defending champion, will try to win his 11th title.
