Akhannouch receives the president of the Indian group HCL Tech

The Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch received, on Monday in Rabat, Roshni Nadar, President of HCL Tech, a world-renowned Indian group which has selected Morocco for the establishment of its new Delivery Center specializing in technical support and software engineering to serve its global customers.

During her visit to Morocco, the President of HCL Tech, accompanied by Mohcine Jazouli, Minister Delegate in charge of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies, Ghita Mezzour, Minister Delegate in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, will proceed to the inauguration of the HCL Tech Delivery Center at Technopolis Rabat.

This investment, allowing the creation of more than 1,000 highly qualified jobs, confirms the negotiation process started in 2021 and formalized by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding in 2022. In addition, it strengthens the Moroccan outsourcing sector, particularly in the field of coding, software and IT services.

Guided by the royal vision, the Kingdom has resolutely embarked on a digital transition in order to breathe new life into national socio-economic development.

“We enthusiastically welcome HCL Tech to Morocco, convinced that their presence will be a powerful engine of growth in the information technology and outsourcing sector, opening up many opportunities for our talented young people. This strategic investment by HCL Tech further strengthens the deep-rooted economic and cultural ties between India and Morocco.”said Mohcine Jazouli in this sense.

For her part, the president of HCL Tech said: “It is with great joy that we are launching our activities in Morocco to carry out digital transformation projects at the service of our customers.
