The head of government, Aziz Akhannouch, has just received a special report from the Mediator of the Kingdom on the debate on the examination for aptitude to practice the profession of lawyer and decides to interact positively with regard to the activation proposed recommendations.
This special report includes a series of proposals and recommendations, mainly the organization of a new examination meeting the same conditions as that of the session of December 4, 2022.
The Institution proposes that the announcement of the results and the presentation of the certificates of aptitude to the candidates having passed the new examination be made at the beginning of next October to allow those who so wish to benefit with their peers from the provisions of Article 11 of the law governing the profession of lawyer with regard to the introduction of the application for inclusion on the list of trainee lawyers.
According to a press release, of which MoroccoLatestNews has a copy, after receiving the report and various consultations, in particular with the Minister of Justice, Abdellatif Ouahbi, it was decided to treat positively the recommendations and proposals presented by the Institution of the Mediator of the Kingdom, in full harmony with the government’s interest in the various citizen complaints concerning public administrations received by the institution.
The same source specifies that this approach embodies the will of the government to interact positively and to activate its recommendations, to support the roles of this independent constitutional institution in the defense of rights, within the framework of the relations between the administration and the citizens. , and to contribute to the consolidation of the rule of law and the dissemination of the principles of justice and equity.
In its report, the Institution of the Mediator of the Kingdom underlined the great reactivity and the positive and responsible interaction which characterized its meetings with the Head of Government, the Minister of Justice, the President and the members of the office of the Moroccan Bar Association, and all persons concerned by this file.
