The Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, chaired, Friday in Rabat, the fourth interministerial meeting on the new investment charter.
This meeting is part of the close monitoring process deployed to prepare the details of the implementation of the New Investment Charter, in accordance with royal instructions, said a statement from the Head of Government’s department.
In this context, adds the text, the strong mobilization and commitment of the ministerial departments in the implementation of the various priority projects have made it possible in particular to stabilize the main texts of the investment charter.
These are the framework law on the Investment Charter, the Decree relating to the main support mechanism and the specific mechanism applicable to investment projects of a strategic nature, the Decree on specific support intended to encourage the development of Moroccan companies abroad as well as the definition of the main measures planned for the specific support mechanism intended for very small, small and medium-sized enterprises.
Emphasis is also placed on the acceleration of reform projects facilitating the act of investing and entrepreneurship, and in priority those related to the simplification and digitization of procedures, administrative deconcentration, urban planning documents and planning permissions, land and payment terms.
It should be noted that the meeting took place in the presence of Abdelouafi Laftit, Minister of the Interior, Mohamed Hajoui, Secretary General of Government, Nadia Fettah, Minister of Economy and Finance, Fatim Ezzahra El Mansouri, Minister of National Territorial Planning, Urban Planning, Housing and City Policy, Younes Sekkouri, Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills, Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Trade, Fatima Zahra Ammor, Minister of Tourism, Crafts and Social and Solidarity Economy, Mohcine Jazouli, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government, in charge of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies, Fouzi Lekjaa, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance, in charge of the Budget, and Ghita Mezzour, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of the Digital Transition and the Reform of Administration.
