Aït Taleb continues consultations on the draft framework law

The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Khalid Ait Taleb continued, on Saturday in Rabat, the consultation meetings around the draft framework law relating to the health system, by holding a meeting with the independent union of nurses and technicians (SIITS) and the independent union of doctors in the public sector (SIMSP) with a view to the successful implementation of the royal health system reform project.

To this end, the minister received Mustapha Jaa, national secretary of SIITS, and Abdellah El Montadar Alaoui, national secretary of SIMSP, as well as members of the national office of the two unions.

The union partners have expressed their involvement in the implementation of this royal project, which is likely to establish a “revolution in the health sector in Morocco”in view of the reforms it carries, underlined Khalid Ait Taleb, in a statement to the press at the end of this meeting.

The government official reviewed several advantages of this project which will have a positive impact on citizens, as well as professionals in the sector, since it is based on a set of pillars that allow overcoming the problems from which the construction sector suffers. health.

At the same time, the Minister welcomed the interaction of the various unions and their approval of the framework bill 06.22 and their desire to strengthen the health system and enrich it with their proposals in order to improve the conditions of workers, and ensuring a positive impact on the quality of the health services provided.

For his part, Mustapha Jaa considered that the health system in Morocco expect a set of comprehensive reforms, and the draft framework law relating to the national health system is the best proof, given the positive aspects that it contains, adding that this project would make it possible to offer many health services to citizens.

“As a union, we express our involvement in this royal project, and we will strive to make it a success, because in the end, it will serve the citizen and the workers in the health sector”he pointed out.

For his part, Abdellah El Montadar assured that today’s meeting “was very fruitful since it is part of the success of the great royal project to generalize social coverage”emphasizing the important role of health services in the development of the sector and the strengthening of health security.
