The Minister of Health and Social Protection Khalid Aït Taleb decided on Thursday to carry out an investigation into the circumstances of the discovery of the body of an elderly man in a wheelchair in front of the entrance to the gate of the Center Hospitalier Universitaire Ibn Rochd At Casablanca.
An official source from the Ministry of Health indicated that Aït Taleb dispatched a central inspection commission to the CHU Ibn Rochd in Casablanca to conduct a field and administrative investigation in order to find out the circumstances of the death.
The commission sent to Casablanca is made up of a central director, central inspectors and administrative agents.
According to the same source, the Minister of Health would have given “strict instructions to the inspection committee” to carry out a thorough investigation on the ground and submit a detailed report of this shocking incident. Actions and decisions will follow the results of this investigation.
