AC Milan returns to the charge for Hakim Ziyech, with the objective of recruiting him during the winter transfer window. The Italian club are already preparing an offer for Chelsea to secure the services of the Moroccan international in the form of a loan.
Could a transfer to AC Milan help Hakim Ziyech regain significant playing time? The 28-year-old has struggled to win in Thomas Tuchel’s starting XI so far, becoming a regularly used substitute for the German tactician. The Moroccan has played a total of 118 minutes in three Premier League appearances in the 2021/22 Premier League campaign.
A situation that could benefit the Rossoneri. Indeed, according to SempreMilan, Ziyech is being considered as a possible loan signing before negotiations scheduled for January.
The Serie A giant is said to be looking to strengthen the role of playmaker and right-winger, and the Morocco international would do the trick perfectly. Milan were originally looking to sign Ziyech over the summer months, but Thomas Tuchel decided he wanted him at Stamford Bridge.
However, he hasn’t played too much this season for the Blues yet, and a loan deal could work well for both sides. The Milanese could also face some competition, as the former Ajax is one of the most important names the Newcastle administration seek to sign, after the team transferred ownership to the Saudi Investment Fund, and has expressed a desire for big deals.
Since joining Chelsea, Ziyech’s transfer value has fallen to around € 38m, after the forward signed for the Blues last year for € 40m. Thus, a purchase option could well be included if a loan agreement were to be made.
