Abdelkebir Ouaddar wins the Mohammed VI Prize

Rider Abdelkebir Ouaddar, riding the horse “Ceika Malouine”, won, on Sunday, the Mohammed VI Prize for the Moroccan senior show jumping championship, as part of the 38th edition of Horse Week, organized from July 15 to 23 at the Royal Equestrian Sports Complex and Tbourida Dar Es-Salam in Rabat, under the High Patronage of King Mohammed VI.

Ouaddar signed a time of 60.98 with 4 penalty points, during this event held in two rounds. He beat Lieutenant Yassine Laklach, riding “Chadonia PS”, who scored 66.60 and 5.36 penalty points.

Third place went to El Ghali Boukaa, riding “Ugolino Du Clos”, who completed the course in 66.17 with 10.05 penalty points.

At the end of this event, the president of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Equestrian Sports (FRMSE), Moulay Abdellah Alaoui, presented the trophy to the winner and the medals to the first three of the Moroccan senior show jumping championship.

The 38th edition of Horse Week put 353 pairs, riders and horses in competition in 20 different categories to win the gold medal.

On the program were the Special Olympics Morocco championship, the Moroccan dressage championships A and B, the Moroccan club championship, the Moroccan championships for seniors, senior amateurs, juniors, cadets and minors (U13, U18 and U21), pony and amateurs and the military championships A and B.
