The 41 Morocco Club, represented by Dr Aziz Cherkaoui, was elected on Saturday as the international presidency of the 41 Movement for the year 2024-2025, a first in the Arab-Muslim world.
Morocco was represented by Dr Aziz Cherkaoui from Marrakech who worked tirelessly internationally for many years to achieve this result.
“We know that all the Service Clubs like the Rotary Club, the Lions Club and others, are entities that work in the same direction as the 41 Club which has just had this international distinction never achieved in an Arab-Muslim country”, said Dr Cherkaoui, also Honorary Consul of South Korea in Marrakech-Safi, Agadir-Souss-Massa and Errachidia-Tafilalet.
“It was very hard to achieve this result, it required a lot of work from all over the world, for several years”, he stressed, noting that this distinction was facilitated by “the excellent reputation of Morocco and especially of HM King Mohammed VI, who has given our country a very beautiful image of tolerance, stability, peace and hospitality ”.
Thanking all the people who supported him and all the countries who trusted Morocco, Dr Cherkaoui expressed the wish to have support to promote his country Morocco even more, across the world by 2025 .
In addition to the presidency of Club 41 World by a Moroccan, the choice fell on Marrakech to host in 2025 the International Assembly of all Club 41 of the world.
