A woman of Ivorian nationality and her two children, missing, were found in Morocco in Tan-Tan. The woman was desperate to escape her marital problems.
Missing since April 4, an Ivorian national and her two children were finally found safe and sound in Tan-Tan in Morocco on April 15, reports the Ivorian Press Agency (AIP) on Wednesday.
The Ivorian national, Bagayoko Teneba Latifati, six months pregnant and accompanied by two minor children, intended to cross the Mediterranean to go to Europe, indicates the AIP quoting a press release from the spokesperson of the Ministry of State in charge of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and the Diaspora, Sam Wakouboué Dago.
According to the press release, Ms. Bagayoko said that she had decided to leave Côte d’Ivoire to live elsewhere, far from the vicissitudes of her married life which had become unbearable. She no longer wanted to return to Côte d’Ivoire and had decided to continue her journey whatever the price.
The head of the Ivorian diplomatic mission in Morocco, Idrissa Traoré, underlines the same source, convinced Ms. Bagayoko to give up her project while promising her “that her cause, which has already been taken up by the highest Ivorian authorities, will know a happy ending. , upon his arrival in Abidjan”.
The press release specifies that in accordance with the instructions of the Minister of State Kandia Camara who is personally involved in this file, the Ambassador of Côte d’Ivoire in Morocco is working to organize the return trip, as soon as possible, of the three members of the Bakaré Aliou Oliadé family, found safe and sound.
