Thus, Nada Laaraj offered Morocco its first gold medal, in taekwondo in the -57 kg category by beating Turkey’s Hatice Kubra.
Omaima El Bouchti won silver in the -53 kg category, losing in the final to Iranian Nahid Kiyanichandeh.
Moroccan athlete Noura Ennadi won the gold medal in the 400m hurdles event, giving Morocco its second medal of the precious metal.
Moroccan athletes Soukaina Hajji and Assia Rizki won the silver and bronze medals respectively in the 800m event.
In addition, the national volleyball team won against its Cameroonian counterpart with the score of 3 to 2.
