A Council of Government will meet on Thursday under the chairmanship of Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch.
At the beginning of its work, the Council will examine a presentation by the Minister of Justice which will focus on the assessment of the Kingdom’s responsiveness to the international human rights system as well as a bill amending and supplementing the law relating to the fight against doping in sport, says a press release from the Head of Government’s department.
It will also examine four draft decrees: the first amending the decree relating to the granting of additional remuneration to teaching and research staff of the faculties of medicine and pharmacy and the faculties of dental medicine, while the second concerns the decree special status of the body of teacher-researchers in higher education.
The third draft decree concerns the special status of the inter-ministerial corps of teacher-researchers in higher education establishments that are not part of the universities, while the fourth draft amends and completes the decree on the special status of the corps of teacher-researchers of medicine, pharmacy and dentistry.
The Council will complete its work by examining proposals for appointment to higher positions, in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution, the statement added, indicating that the government will subsequently hold a private meeting devoted to the examination of certain bills.
