The Minister of Justice, Abdellatif Ouahbi, assured that the attendance rate of candidates for the aptitude test for the exercise of the profession of lawyer, held on July 9, reached 66%, knowing that 49,773 candidates were invited to take this exam.
Speaking Tuesday before the House of Advisors, Ouahbi said that the first written exam recorded the presence of 33,539 candidates against 33,020 for the second.
The aptitude test for the exercise of the profession of lawyer was organized at the level of 46 centers in 22 cities and was supervised by 3,340 civil servants, he said, adding that the supervision was entrusted to magistrates and attorneys general.
The minister, on another note, said that 58 cases of fraud have been registered, noting that a commission composed of attorneys general, first presidents and directors has been set up to address the answers to the multiple-choice questions.
This commission will make the appropriate decision on the issue of the “success rate”, he stressed.
The holding of this examination for a second time comes following a decision by the Head of Government based on a recommendation made by the Institution of the Mediator, recalled Ouahbi.
