87% of Moroccans intend to travel this year, compared to an 82% share in 2022, according to a survey by Avito and Survey Monkeys.
A quarter of respondents prefer Agadir as their vacation spot, followed by the North of Morocco, while 59% of respondents used booking platforms to arrange their accommodations.
Most platform users—nearly 93%—have looked for a residence for less than 1,000 DH per night.
Nearly half of Moroccans (59%) had made lodging reservations on Avito.ma, which is followed by the Booking platform, which was used by 29% of respondents, Airbnb (10%), and Trivago (9%).
According to the poll, the percentage of reservations on Booking significantly dropped in a single year, from 46% in 2022 to 29% this year.
