“Inclusion in insurance & resilience to pandemics” is the theme of this 7th edition of the Casablanca Insurance Meeting which is held on March 31 and April 01 and which this year puts Cameroon in the spotlight.
Organized by the Moroccan Federation of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies and placed under the High Patronage of King Mohammed VI, the Rendez-Vous de Casablanca has risen, in the space of a few years, as one of the continental events essentials. It makes Casablanca a hub for reflection on the future of African insurance and reinsurance.
On the program for this 7th edition, round tables around the use of innovative technologies and the means to be put in place to make insurance more inclusive and cover populations which, until then, were on the margins of traditional insurance systems.
We will also find on this year’s program international experts who will share their experiences in the management of the health crisis linked to COVID-19 and more generally the resilience of insurance players in the face of pandemics.
“To promote inclusion in insurance, our sector is mobilized to adapt the product offer and adjust distribution channels to match the needs and purchasing power of low-income people”, announces Mohamed Hassan Bensalah, President of the FMSAR. “After a year marked by a health crisis which still does not seem to be running out of steam, it seemed useful to us to deal with, on the sidelines of financial inclusion, the impact of COVID-19 on our business with a return of experience of several actors coming from different continents ”, he continued.
This event will also be an opportunity to highlight exhibition spaces with 14 virtual exhibitors present at the Casablanca Rendez-Vous de l’Assurance to present their services, ideas and expertise.
