The Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations (BCIJ) proceeded this Wednesday, on the basis of precise information provided by the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance, to the arrest of 07 individuals active in the cities of Salé and Meknes, including two former detainees under the anti-terrorism law, for their alleged links with a criminal network specializing in forgery and use of forgery, fraud and usurpation of a function governed by law for the purpose of s monopolize public funds, to practice the profession of doctor and dental surgeon without authorization or legal document and to undermine the health security of citizens.
A press release from the BCIJ states that the preliminary research carried out revealed that two suspects usurped, with the complicity of three dentists arrested in connection with the same case, the function of dentist and performed all the related operations in clinics in Salé, by subjecting their victims to surgical interventions in flagrant violation of the laws governing the exercise of this profession, which caused illnesses and serious complications for several of them.
