A total of 557,595 candidates sit the Baccalaureate exams for the June session in 1,753 examination centers across the Kingdom, divided between 425,980 schoolchildren and 131,615 independent candidates, said the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports.
A press release from the ministry specifies that some 804 subjects have been prepared, including 104 subjects adapted to 646 candidates with disabilities.
To mark the launch of this national deadline, the Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports, Chakib Benmoussa, visited on Tuesday the examination center of the high school qualifying Ibn Al-Roumi in Moulay Bousselham, in the province of Kenitra .
During this visit, the Minister inquired about the conditions of organization and the conduct of the examinations, of which those of the scientific, technical and professional pole take place from June 6 to 8, while those of the literary pole and original education are scheduled for June 9 and 10.
To guarantee the success of this important deadline, the Ministry reports the mobilization of the various stakeholders at the national and regional levels, the establishment of an examination system and the development of related guides, and support for students through educational and psychological support sessions.
The ministry had announced the introduction, from the June 2023 session, of a new digital technology to produce and manage baccalaureate certificates and transcripts of marks for baccalaureate holders, an operation aimed in particular at strengthening the protection of the diploma and transcripts against any falsification, while reducing the time between the announcement of the results of the exams and the delivery of the diplomas, in addition to the possibility of checking in real time the authenticity of the certificate and its conformity with the minutes deliberations of the baccalaureate examinations.
Note that the results will be announced on June 19, while the catch-up session will be held from July 5 to 8, 2023.
