The national coronavirus contamination report shows this Friday, April 9 at 6 p.m., 564 new healings, for a total of 487,414 and 12 new deaths, for a total of 8,885.
Regarding deaths, Morocco recorded an increase from 6 Thursday to 12 this Friday, with 6 regions spared. As for the case fatality rate, it stands at 1.77%.
The region with the highest number of deaths is that of Casablanca-Settat, with 5 all concentrated in the city of Casablanca.
The region of Marrakech Safi has 2 new deaths in Marrakech, while that of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra has only one in Sale.
A new death was also noted in the regions of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima in Tangier-Assilah, the Oriental in Oujda-Angad, Beni Mellal-Khénifra in Khouribga and Fès-Meknes in Taounate.
