Almost half (49%) of Moroccans plan to travel this summer, up 3% from last year, according to a survey by Sunergia Group on Moroccans’ plans for their summer holidays in 2023 .
By age, 18-24-year-olds are more likely to go on vacation this summer, with a rate of 55%, the study says, adding that people in wealthy categories A and B are more likely to go on vacation. this summer (59%).
As for destinations, the survey shows that 83% of people wishing to travel prefer national destinations, compared to 16% who choose to cross borders.
