The César d’Honneur will be awarded to Australian actress Cate Blanchett during the 47th César Ceremony, scheduled for February 25, 2022 on the stage of the Olympia in Paris.
Already twice Oscar winner (2005 and 2014), the Australian actress will receive this distinction for the whole of her career, her engagements and her personality “absolutely remarkable”, indicated the organizers.
“With immense admiration, we will cheer him on the Olympia stage to give him a César d’Honneur for this absolutely remarkable career and personality,” they point out.
Co-founder and director of the production company Dirty Films, alongside her partners Andrew Upton and Coco Francini, Cate Blanchett (52) is a “multifaceted artist, who works in film, television, theater” , adds the press release.
