Thus, and still according to the department of Khalid Ait Taleb, Morocco has recorded 525 healings bringing the national total since the start of the pandemic to 518,101 remissions. The cure rate, this Thursday stood at 97.36%. In addition, Morocco has 230 cases admitted to intensive care, including 18 new cases in 24 hours. In addition, the total of active cases stands at 4,751 cases (0.89%).
Morocco also recorded 2 new deaths due to Covid-19 in 24 hours, including one in the city of Casablanca (Casablanca-Settat region) and one death in Rabat (Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region) thus bringing the total number of deaths since start of the pandemic at 9,298 with a death rate still stable at 1.75%. The other regions of the Kingdom not recorded no deaths in the last 24 hours.
It should be recalled that Morocco has also recorded during the last 24 hours, 789 new confirmed cases of Covid-19, bringing the national total of proven contaminations to 532,150. Thus the cumulative incidence rate is 1,462.5 / 100,000 inhabitants.
In addition, patients under intubation are now 7 cases, the occupancy rate of intensive care beds dedicated to Covid-19 has reached 7.3%, while the total of cases under non-invasive ventilation has increased. to reach 140 cases.
Regarding vaccination, the MAroc has passed the milestone of 10 million beneficiaries of the first dose of the vaccine. Thus, the number of beneficiaries of the first dose of the vaccine since the start of the national campaign reached 10,028,791 against 9,140,785 beneficiaries of the first and second dose of the vaccine, reports the department of Khalid Ait Taleb.
