18 severe cases admitted to REA at the national level and 10 under artificial respiration

In Morocco, the occupancy rate of intensive care beds stood this Friday, May 27 at 0.3%. Thus, the total number of severe cases admitted to intensive care in the Kingdom stands at 18 cases, the Ministry of Health said in its daily epidemiological report. At the national level, the report shows 10 cases under artificial respiration.

In 24 hours, Morocco carried out 6,040 tests, bringing the national total of tests carried out since the start of the pandemic to 11,631,277.

In addition, Morocco has not recorded any deaths due to Covid-19 in the past 24 hours. The national total of deaths since the start of the pandemic therefore remains stable at 16,076, as does the fatality rate which is still at 1.38%.

Morocco has also recorded 82 recoveries, bringing the national total since the start of the pandemic to 1,150,063 remissions. The recovery rate stood at 98.5% this Friday, while the total number of active cases stood at 1,388 cases (0.12%).
